Steelpoint provides assessed office strip-outs for landlords, facility managers and renovation contractors in Vaughan and across the GTA. The work can involve partitions, meeting rooms, fixed joinery, ceilings and floor finishes within the agreed commercial strip-out scope.

A suite and a factory office have different boundaries

In a stand-alone suite, identify the tenant area, base-building components and landlord's receiving condition. In an office inside a warehouse or factory, show the enclosure alongside the surrounding operation. A ceiling or service that crosses the office wall may also serve retained industrial space.

Removing a workplace does not automatically include the platform beneath it, the external building shell or adjoining storage systems. Use separate descriptions for those assemblies so an office quotation does not become an undefined structural package.

Select the removal depth

Office objectiveScope to assess
Keep rooms and renew finishesNamed flooring, ceiling or fixed-fit-out components
Rearrange selected roomsIdentified partitions, doors and affected surrounding finishes
Clear an agreed suiteA full inventory of removals with explicit retained base-building limits

For a comparison of future workplace layouts, read the major office refit guide. The service assessment turns the selected direction into an actual removal package.

Allocate business assets and systems

The occupier arranges loose furniture, records and IT equipment. Building and IT teams establish the status of wiring, access systems and connected installations. Ordinary office demolition is not a data-centre decommissioning or secure-records disposal service.

Demountable partitions also need an ownership and destination decision. If they are intended for reuse, the supplier or appropriate installer should confirm that arrangement before they enter the demolition inventory. See retain, relocate or demolish office partitions.

Agree what follows the strip-out

Record the wall, ceiling and floor condition the next contractor expects, including former partition lines. Repairs, new services and fit-out installation remain separately assigned. Management and the project team review access and retained occupation; a selective scope does not guarantee uninterrupted office operation.
